Imagine if you were only allowed one more holiday in your lifetime. You’d want to make sure it’s the best holiday you could have, would you not? Wouldn’t you plan it, make sure you pick the right place, the right accommodation, the right time of year, doing the things you’ll enjoy the most so that at the end of it you can reflect knowing it was exactly what you wanted it to be. Why should your life be any different? You only get one life, so what better thing to do than to make it the best you possibly can?
What obstacles are you currently faced with? What are you doing that you know doesn’t help you, but you can’t seem to change? How much of your time are you wasting on social media or doing things for short term pleasure that don’t benefit you? The first step forward is to not make things any worse than they need to be. We do this by looking at what’s going wrong, what you might be doing wrong and how you can fix it as quickly as possible.
We all experience setbacks in life, sometimes things seem unfair, sometimes you’ll be disappointed that things didn’t turn out as you’d planned, sometimes you might start to lose hope that change is possible. As the saying goes, life is full of suffering - you cannot escape it your whole life, so what are your options? You can strive to be the best you can be, not just for yourself but for your family, friends, colleagues, and partners. Learn from life’s ups and downs, grow from them and make yourself stronger so you're ready for what the future holds.
Life does not improve by complaining, wishing things could be easier, or hoping difficult things will never come your way. It’s about learning how to treat obstacles as opportunities, to develop wisdom, courage, and resilience, to support other people when they need it, and to ask for help when you need it. If you’re serious about change and achieving your goals, then you must not let a fear of asking for help stop you.
So, what could your life be like if you made use of all the potential you have? Who are your role models and why? What qualities do they have? What if you developed the same qualities as them? How might your life improve? What do you want from your career? What kind of relationship do you want with your partner? What kind of friend do you want to be and what kind of friends do you want to have? How do you plan to take care of your body and mind? Are you the living embodiment of your personal values? Are you even aware of what your personal values are? What if you invested your time in something important and meaningful to you, or in working to achieve your potential?
Imagine how much better the world would be if everyone asked themselves these questions and started taking steps towars their goals.
The most common end of life regrets include “I wish I’d lived the life I wanted rather than the life other people wanted me to” and “I wish I’d pursued my dreams and aspirations.” My reason for coaching is to help people become proactive about their lives and not end up with regrets. I want you to learn to the skills to become your own coach, to realise the huge untapped potential you have, to overcome obstacles and take greater control over your life so you can live the life you want.

This service was exceptionally helpful and I would highly recommend it. Rob is patient, empathetic and understanding, which all felt like highly important qualities, but what felt even more important was his focus on methods, practices and techniques that can be implemented in day to day life and in the future to allow you to work on yourself outside of, and beyond, each session. We worked on a multitude of different things and the goal setting element felt crucial in terms of noticing the progress made. The sessions were interesting and engaging and I always felt better after each one.
